Eldon, MO GO Transportation Truck Driver:
This is classified as a full-time position Summary/Objective The Driver is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and safe deliveries of hazardous bulk liquids. The Driver provides excellent customer service by collaborating diligently and expeditiously with dispatchers and customers daily. Essential Job Functions Inspect vehicle before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist Loading trailers and filling customer owned tanks as assigned Maintain DOT vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed Work closely with customers to ensure GO Transportation meets their expectations, listen to and report customer complaints, concerns or questions to Dispatcher or Fleet Manager Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed Assure the truck remains in proper and safe working order and that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis Comply with all Federal, State, and local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling of hazardous materials Immediately notify the Dispatcher of malfunctioning equipment or condition that needs immediate action Maintain appropriate driver's license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Other duties as needed or assigned to ensure efficient delivery and operations. Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of DOT requirements for transportation and hazardous material transportation Must pass current DOT physical Excellent attention to detail Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect safety of self and others Must have Class A CDL with Tanker Hazmat endorsements The ability to multi-task and stay organized Active listening and critical thinking skills Education and Experience High school diploma or GED 2+ Years of driving experience (Preferred)Job Type:
