Certification Manufacturing Associate's degree Hand tools Communication skills Full Job Description Production Technician III The person in the production technician III position will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and documentation of our cutting-edge, class III medical devices. You will work closely with our production and engineering teams to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of good manufacturing practices.

Essential Job Functions:
Set up and operate production equipment for the manufacture and testing of complex medical devices. Use product specifications, diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to produce products. Document all production activities accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor process output for quality and conformance to required metrics. Perform destructive testing (i.e. cross sectioning of titanium parts) using specialty equipment such as precision saws, rotary polishers, and metallurgical microscopes. Prepare and maintain required records of production activities and report any inconsistencies or equipment issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and quality issues in accordance with Quality policies to ensure the smooth operation of the production line. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and increase efficiency. Train and mentor junior production technicians as needed; train operators as needed on standard processes. Follow established guidelines for safe material handling and personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety and regulatory standards.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED required. Associates degree in manufacturing technology preferred. Minimum of 3-years experience in the medical device or drug industry or other regulated production environment.
IPC-A-610
Certification a plus. Ability to read and write English and must have good verbal and written communication skills. Sharp visual alertness. Fine motor skills (handling of very small, delicate items). Basic math skills (additions/subtraction). Ability to use a microscope and various hand tools. Ability and willingness to use destructive testing equipment such as a precision table saw. Ability to read drawings and understand and interpret dimensions and tolerances preferred. Technical understanding of documentation, safety and design application preferred. Experience working with manufacturing-based technology processes and principles preferred.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift, bend or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation:
$24 - 31 Hourly to start, Depending Upon Qualifications Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Paid Sick Leave Partial Payment by Company of Group Health Insurance 401(k) with limited company matching.
