In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of assigned site. You will assist with the collection of rent from all residents, in accordance with the Rent Collection Policy, for the effective administration and disposition of all landlord-tenant cases and for the enforcement of all lease terms for both residential and commercial tenants. This opportunity offers a pay range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, based on experience. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. This role requires to be on-site 4 days per week and 1 day remotely. Responsibilities Oversee rent collection, including: sending late rent notices, communicating with the attorneys regarding new and ongoing cases, processing payments, and conducting related programs. Review, submit, and follow up on all payable invoices. Answer any questions and research any issues concerning utilities. Create relevant monthly reports. Assist manager in monthly Accounts Receivable reporting and tracking. As specified, create monthly/quarterly/annual reports for Agencies, Lenders and Owners. Execute actions as outlined in approved Rent Collection Policy to include: ensure that rent bills are mailed each month, send late letters, provide phone reminders, instruct attorney to send rent demands, complete and submit nonmilitary affidavits, apply legal charges and damage charges, convert demands to petitions, authorize stipulation agreements, accept stipulation payments, authorize warrant serves, maintain and distribute Do Not Accept ("DNA") List, authorize eviction moves or discarding of items from evicted apartments, authorize commencement of turnover work for evicted apartments. Meet with attorneys regularly for case status updates and to obtain follow-up instructions, review all legal bill prior to posting in RealPage OneSite, dispute bills as applicable, bill legal fees to residents as applicable Requirements High School diploma or
GED. 3-5
years of related work experience. Prior AR/AP experience. Advanced skills with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suites. Basic Accounting Skills - understanding of debits and credits, income statement, and balance sheet. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Superb attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Accounting, Business or related field. Accounting or bookkeeping related educational certificate. Advanced knowledge of housing regulatory requirements. Property management software knowledge such as RealPage and/or OneSite.
