Seeking a Commercial Service Technician with expertise in chilled water systems, building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controls. Program, integrate, install, and troubleshoot BAS platforms. Analyze BAS data to identify and resolve communication or performance issues. Perform routine inspections and service on HVAC and BAS systems for preventive maintenance. Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively with clients and non-technical stakeholders. Provide recommendations for upgrades or energy efficiency improvements. Must be able to travel to projects across the US, arrange their own travel accommodations, and submit accurate expense reports in a timely manner.Qualifications:
5+ years of experience performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and air handlers. Hands-on experience servicing chilled water systems, including troubleshooting and optimization. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical/electrical schematics. Strong knowledge of air handlers, chillers, pumps, variable air volume, variable frequency drives, cooling towers system design, operation, and troubleshooting. proven experience working in large facilities such as schools, universities, and multi-story office buildings. Experience with installation and maintenance of BAS systems is a plus. Experience with Niagara Framework, N4 certification and BACnet systems is a plus.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED, and trade or technical school classes. Certification or certificate is recommended but not required. 5+ years' related industry experience.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
