Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled full-time Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet safety and compliance standards. Your expertise will play a critical role in protecting lives and property by ensuring that fire sprinkler systems are fully operational and meet all regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs routine maintenance on various fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, fire pumps and deluge systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fire sprinkler system issues to ensure proper functioning and code compliance. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs, and prepare detailed reports for customers and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with clients to address concerns and provide recommendations for system upgrades or repairs. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fire sprinkler system designs. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national fire safety codes. Respond to emergency service calls to troubleshoot and repair systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED certificate. Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler system maintenance or installation. Requires the ability to display knowledge of codes and regulations related to the work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication with customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 feet tall. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
