AM Pay:
$ 22-$28 per hour
Type:

Responsibilities:
Perform QC tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods; respond to out-of-spec results Approve/reject raw materials and vendors; prepare samples for internal and external use Manage inventory and storage of raw materials like HFCS, concentrates, and additives Collect, test, analyze, and document product samples Collaborate with production teams to support efficient line start-ups and changeovers Batch syrups accurately using proper formulations Review production schedules and coordinate product runs Initiate corrective actions for non-compliance, including QC holds Conduct GMP line audits and ensure food safety standards are met Calibrate lab equipment and maintain instruments in working condition Perform routine cleaning/sanitation of batching areas and production lines Complete sample analysis to meet customer and company specifications
Requirements:
High School diploma; 2+ years in a fast-paced production or packaging environment Experience with quality checks and basic lab equipment (e.g., pH meter, balances, HPLC) Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and GMP standards Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Excel and Word; SPC and SAP knowledge a plus Self-starter with strong attention to detail
