Job Description
FUNCTION
Working under the supervision of the assigned manager, the full-time Accounting Administrator Bookkeeper - HR Generalist performs all assigned accounting duties, and other tasks as assigned by the assigned manager.CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP
- Financial reporting (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Trial Balance)
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
- Perform and/or manage code, post and receive AR payment
- Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
- Check, verify, and process invoices
- Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
- Quarterly Federal and State Tax Returns
- Maintain filing systems for accounting and human resources
- Main point of contact for Health Benefits
- Coordinates reviews
- New employee on-boarding
- Job Postings
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion
COMPETENCY
REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS:
- GAAP in a manufacturing setting
- General working knowledge of Human Resource management
- Proficiency with MS Office and knowledge of Quick Books
- Previous experience using
MRP / ERP
software- Self-starter with project management driven mindset
- A desire to become the subject matter expert in their areas of responsibility
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone system, copier and facsimile machine
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School or equivalent diploma required. Degree preferred
- Familiarity with ISO9001:2008/AS9100 preferred
- At least two years' experience in Accounting and Human Resource responsibilities and procedures
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This is an office position in a manufacturing company
SAFETY:
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Wear the Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
