Pay $26.68 - $28.50 an hour Job type Full-time Temporary Shift and schedule Rotating shift Location Santa Clara, CA 95054 Full job description Sirius Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Technician with logistics for a long-term position in Santa Clara, CA. Pay $ 26.68 to 28.50/ hour. Technicians work on systems and maintain a supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as smartphones, LEDs, and Flat Screen TVs. Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:

Responsibilities:

Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs Support of quality systems. Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for chemical and gas storage. Offload and store chemicals safely in designated areas. Coordinate and track chemical deliveries, ensuring timely receipt and proper storage. Handle and move chemicals and gases using appropriate equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Assist with lifting materials and ensuring proper placement within storage areas. Operate forklifts (certification preferred) and pallet jacks for safe material handling.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Prior experience in offloading chemical handling/storage and delivery Maintaining inventory management and material handling/lifting. Forklift operation experience (certification preferred) and pallet jack. Ability to safely handle and move chemicals and gases. Barcode experience is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for chemical storage and movement. Experience with pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. Military training is welcomed. Strong technical aptitude Excellent communication skills

Physical Attributes:

Occasionally climbing ladders (utilizing fall protection) In some cases, Technicians must put on Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator (this type of respirator provides air from a cylinder through a mask connected to the cylinder) while working with chemicals (approx. 10-15 minutes Basic lifting (up to 40lbs) Bending of the knees and overhead reaching PPE made available to workers includes safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, etc. Worker will be provided with vouchers to purchase safety boots, which they are required to wear.
