We are currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team in Seattle, WA as a Quality Inspector CMM I in our Aerospace Division. We seek someone who has 5+ years of Aerospace quality inspection or equivalent experience preferred (ASQ Certified) , possesses strong k nowledge and experience with
GD&T, SPC, GR&R
, and who has the ability to work well with employees at all levels in each department who come from various backgrounds as noted in the job description below. The ideal candidate for this role will also have experience running Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) , reading CMM reports and verifying out of tolerance dimensions using manual or other methods. We seek someone who is highly motivated and driven by self-improvement . and who is a self starter who is extremely reliable . Operates CMM and performs various manual inspections on materials, products, processes and supplier provided components to determine the acceptability of products.Responsibilities:
Inspects and determines acceptability of customer requirements and verifies compliance to standards. Performs first part, in-process, first article and final inspections. Verify that all required documentation is completed to assure process control. Eddy Current and Hardness Testing. Identify trends, assists Quality Engineer and others in developing root cause corrective action analysis and improvement processes. Perform manual inspections as required. Assist with internal and external Nadcap audit, checklist review for compliance. Assist with lean/process improvement activities. Audits procedures for adherence to standards. Continuing education classes will be required. Ensures the adherence to company safety and health standards, policies and procedures by monitoring personnel, machinery and work environment. Immediately notify supervisor and/or Safety Manager of any safety and health concerns and problems. Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent required. Associates degree in Quality, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a similar field is preferred. 5+ years of Aerospace quality inspection or equivalent experience preferred (ASQ Certified). Knowledge and experience withGD&T, SPC, GR&R.
Thorough knowledge of all inspection devices and tools required. Experience with MBD, DPD and use of Enovia. Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and teamwork. Advanced PC skills are required for (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Data analysis, MRP) Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with strong organizational skills required. Ability to follow clear instructions and provide prompt feedback or results. Strong communications skills. Ability to work schedule as assigned.Company benefits may include:
