Job Description:

The Heavy-Duty Rotator Operator will perform vehicle recoveries and heavy-duty towing with the utmost safety and precision. This role requires significant experience and skill in towing and recovery operations, working closely with dispatch and law enforcement to secure accident scenes and move oversized vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Operate a 50-ton rotator to recover and tow heavy-duty vehicles in challenging environments Conduct vehicle recoveries, including rollover situations, jackknifed trucks, and accident scenes Collaborate with on-scene personnel, including law enforcement and DOT, to ensure safe, effective recovery operations Maintain accurate service records and equipment logs Participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 response, with overtime likely during peak demand

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty towing, with specific experience operating a 50-ton rotator Strong knowledge of tow truck equipment, hydraulic systems, and safe vehicle recovery procedures Ability to lift 100 lbs and work in diverse weather conditions Exceptional situational awareness and problem-solving abilities
