This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills, as you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment in various industrial settings. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, focusing on high voltage applications. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize tools such as voltmeters and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate readings and functionality. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and modify electrical layouts using AutoCAD software. Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues related to electrical systems. Troubleshoot hydraulic systems as needed, ensuring all components function effectively. Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed on equipment for compliance and record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. Familiarity with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) practices is preferred. Experience with Calypso software is a plus. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs. Knowledge of hydraulics is advantageous for this position. Ability to work independently in the field while adhering to safety regulations and protocols. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in electrical technology are desirable.
