E & I Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Install process control and measurement instrumentation on new and existing field equipment (transmitters, controllers, analyzers, control valves, etc.). Perform mechanical work related to instrument maintenance, including removal and installation of small piping and tubing. Rebuild and service control valves and tune process controllers. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as calibration, testing, and replacement of instrumentation components. Maintain detailed field instrument records and standards. Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust system components including sensors, transmitters, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Utilize test equipment, hand tools, and consult manuals, diagrams, and blueprints to perform maintenance and repairs. Calibrate instruments and components according to manufacturers' specifications. Support plant operations in process control optimization. Participate in and comply with company safety programs and all policies. Provide on-call support as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of hands-on field experience in electrical and instrumentation work. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with diagnostic tools. Certification in First Aid/CPR with
AED, OSHA
30, and Safeland preferred (OSHA 500 certification is a plus). Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (required for safety-sensitive positions). Successful completion of a criminal background check, assessed based on relevance to the role.
