Manager Engineering (inContact, Inc.; Sandy, Utah): Provide leadership and support in management and design and delivery of software and platforms. Govern programs, policies, and procedures that assure consistent and replicable software development methods. Govern the set of policies that establish standard software development languages, tools, methodology, documentation practices, and examination procedures for developed systems to ensure alignment with overall architecture. Participate in project scope, schedule, and cost reviews. Identify and implement ways to improve and promote software quality. Be responsible for new product software development and quality. Maintain software/bug fixes. Release scheduling. Prepare and submit weekly project status reports and monthly reports outlining team assignments and/or changes, project status changes, and project timelines forecasts. Prioritize employee career development in an effort to grow internal pipeline of leadership talent. Prioritize, assign, and manage department activities and projects in accordance with the department's goals and objectives.
