The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of mechanical operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe completion of construction and maintenance projects. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front loader trucks, concrete mixers, roll-off trucks, tankers, cranes, and backhoes to complete various tasks on job sites. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding equipment status, project progress, and any issues that arise during operations. Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to roll-off trucks, skid steer loader, excavators, and backhoes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Valid driver's license or certification for heavy machinery operation is preferred. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong computer skills for submitting daily site reports.
