Positions in this function prepare and maintain records of accounts receivable, including receipts, claims and overdue invoices. Applies all incoming cash receipts and wire payments to the appropriate general ledger accounts. Computes interest charges, processes refunds and related items. Performs periodic and month-end balancing and reporting activities. This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule. • Primary Responsibilities

Also, you'll need to be researching and resolving problems before, during and after calls within a high volume, demanding environment. + Electronic and Paper claim submission + contacting payer for follow up on submitted claims. + Review of payer denials + Submitting appeals as appropriate + Submitting records or addressing other claims deficiencies as appropriate + Heavy inbound and outbound telephone use + Serving as trainer for new employees + Supporting management with special projects as needed + Running and extrapolating data from existing reports + Other duties as assigned You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

• Required Qualifications
• + High school diploma/GED OR equivalent years of working experience + Must be 18+ yrs of age or older + 2 years recent Medical billing/Accounts receivable experience with Medicare and Medicaid experience.

+ 6+ months of experience with DME medical billing + Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications + Ability to multi-task and to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product + Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

• Preferred Qualifications
• + State of Nevada payer experience + Pharmacy and electronic claims

• + Reside within PST or MST. + Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) + Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. + Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
