Automotive Repair Specialist Alan Byer Foreign Auto 5622 Horatio Street, Utica, NY 13502 Job Description Alan Byer Foreign Auto seeks a motivated, goal-oriented service technician to join one of the most successful Used Car dealerships in Oneida County. We are looking for the right individual to join our team. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm. Must have at least 3 years of automotive repair experience and a State Inspection License. Applicant should be able to operate the following: Diagnostic instruments, AC equipment, Wheel and Tire equipment, and Hunter Hawk Eye Front End Alignment Machine. Responsible for communicating with the Service Manager any necessary repairs and/or additional time needed to complete the repair. Must have own tools. Responsibilities

• -Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• -Installs batteries and checks electrical systems.
• -Installs and performs tire maintenance and replaces tires as necessary
• -Performs inspections on various belts and filters, and checks air levels using gauges.
• -Ensures that all serviced vehicles are road worthy
• -Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean and disinfected when returned to customer
• -Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
• -Keep shop area neat and clean
• -Any other service-related duties

MAJOR INCENTIVES

• $6,000 payable in 6 installments after each month of employment. Semi-Annual Performance Bonus
• up to 10% of yearly (pay outs in June and December) 401K Plan
• 4% Employee contribution/2% Employer contribution
