Vehicle Service Contract Claims Specialist AutoXcel Corporation Raleigh, NC Vehicle Service Contract Claims Specialist The AutoXcel Corporation is a national vehicle service contract provider. The Company's business includes mechanical VSC contracts. AutoXcel seeks a Vehicle Service Contract Claims Specialist to help analyze mechanical claims. The applicant should be an ASE certified auto technician, have experience in automotive mechanical repair or service writing and have the ability to communicate well in writing and over the phone. Responsibilities
- Receive and review vehicle mechanical claims examining defect, cause and extent of repair. Must have a thorough understanding of engine mechanical as well as suspension, fuel intake systems and other mechanical parts of vehicles.
- The VSC Claims Specialist must read and understand the terms of AutoXcel VSC contracts.
- Research mechanical repair processes and labor rates to ensure that the claim is within the stated tolerances of the accepted repair manual - i.e. - AllData.
- Have rapport with customers, dealership service departments, and vendors.
- Maintain an exceptional level of customer service with professionalism and friendliness. Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 Years of experience in the automotive mechanical repair, automotive service writing, or automotive service advising industry.
- ASE (Center for Automotive Service Excellence) Certification in one or more areas.
- The ability to multi-task and collaborate with team members.
- Exceptional customer service, problem solving, organization, and negotiating skills.
