Electro-Mechanical Technician 3rd Shift Adecco - 3.7 Germantown, WI Job Details $28 - $32 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Journeyman License Management Schematics 5 years Maintenance GMP Microsoft Office CMMS High school diploma or GED Programmable logic controllers Electrical experience Senior level Associate's degree Communication skills Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Position Overview The Electromechanical Technician, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, plays a key role in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of mechanical systems, automated PLCs, robotics, and other computerized equipment essential to production processes. This role may also involve collaboration with project and utilities teams to address production needs and drive organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to support both production and non-production equipment, adhering to established standards. Troubleshoot programmable devices and system hardware to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations. Focus on enhancing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and participating in efforts to boost productivity and yield. Contribute to process validation, tooling development, or packaging testing initiatives to promote efficiency and continuous improvement. Work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication of equipment downtime, and ensure decisions align with production needs and company goals. Accurately document all maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the plant. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electromechanical systems, ideally in the food or beverage industry (not mandatory). Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues. Familiarity with electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair, and programming. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings, with experience working with 3-phase and 480VAC systems. Attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to manage tasks effectively in a high-demand environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using PCs, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a diverse, inclusive team environment. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Electromechanical Technology or a related field. Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
