This job is an individual contributor primarily responsible for supporting and maintaining end-user computers in the organization by providing troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and network issues. This role will work under general direction and supervision from experienced IT Staff. In this job, you will: Assist network and telecom engineers with complex technical tasks including debugging and supporting hardware modules and systems. Assemble hardware components on large-scale and small-scale computer systems according to established design specifications. Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop hard drives, monitors, and printers at end user work stations. Install and repair computer hardware. Configure all workstations and server hardware according to organization's standards. Coordinate moves and reconnect computer equipment. Maintain hardware inventory, spare parts log, and work log. Complete installation and swap-out of server hardware including server, disks, and communication gear. Document and maintain system configurations for disaster recovery. Deliver professional, proficient customer service to end users providing frequent communication in an effective manner. Other duties as assigned.   • High school diploma or equivalent experience and training. Preferred

Highly proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization. Effective listening skills with ability to interpret and share information clearly and concisely. Ability to gain confidence and trust of others while establishing credibility. Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and manage multiple demands while staying within established timelines. Ability to work positively both independently and within a team environment; sharing expertise with others. Ability to remain positive and display optimism and inspiration. Ability to take ownership of personal development and communicate with manager about development objectives and goals. Ability to accept coaching and constructive feedback, while consistently providing effort towards improving performance. Ability to participate in on-call rotation. Ability to work outside of normal working hours; such as evenings, weekends, holidays (as needed). Here's additional information you need to know: Physical Demands & Requirements Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Environmental Conditions The work environment described here are meant to be representative of those an employee would normally encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. The physical environment requires the employee to work inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold; moderate noise; a normal office environment. Travel, travel for project work, meetings and training is required.. The expected base pay range for this role is: $20.92
