You will report to the Medical Billing Manager and will be responsible for the supporting our team of medical billers. We are a rapidly growing organization and need your skills. We specialize in maximizing the collection of revenue physicians have earned for the services they have provided through comprehensive charge review, and tenacious pursuit of the full payment due. We are recognized for generating returns that exceed industry standards, by collecting what physicians have earned in the shortest time possible.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs at subject matter expert level on all Insurance Representative duties Oversees processing of insurance accounts receivable, daily payment posting, distribution of daily receivables, and deposits Assigns and monitors work of the Billing Representative; ensures timely completion of their work; resolves operations problems; implements new procedures Monitors back-end revenue cycle processes with the guidance of the Billing Manager Assists in recruiting: provides initial and ongoing staff training and new employee orientation; stays abreast of changes and updates to provide staff with the most accurate coaching and training; maintains training/reference manuals Assists with monitoring successful charge capture on the front-end and clean claim submission Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards Models and supports PediaTrust Core Values and coaches others to do the same Other duties as assignedRequired Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum of High School Diploma required Strong knowledge of Insurance follow-up, payor denials, and appeals preferred Knowledge of Epic and/or other EHR systems preferred Some knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis coding preferred Strong knowledge and level of comfort with Microsoft Word and Excel strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills and high level of organizational skills requiredRequired Length & Type of Experience:
Minimum of 3-4 years of medical billing experience requiredCore Values:
