Full Job Description Job Summary:
ATTYX is looking for a Solar Service Technician to join our team in South Carolina. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and commercial solar energy systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with solar PV systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Rate:
$30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair solar PV systems, including inverters, wiring, and panels. Perform system maintenance to ensure peak efficiency. Conduct system performance assessments and diagnostics. Use monitoring systems to track system health and identify issues. Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards. Communicate with customers about system performance, maintenance needs, and repairs. Work collaboratively with the installation team to resolve system issues. Maintain service records, including reports and inventory tracking.
Qualifications:
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in solar PV installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in solar energy or electrical work is a plus.
Certifications:
NABCEP certification is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and wiring. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and service equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Willing to work in various weather conditions.
License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
