We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced recruiter with a strong background in recruiting Department of Defense (DoD) cleared personnel. This is a temporary position, expected to last approximately two months. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DoD security clearance processes and requirements, as well as experience sourcing, screening, and placing top-tier cleared talent. This is a remote position with a focus on the Washington, DC Metro area.Key Responsibilities:
Source, recruit, and place candidates with active DoD security clearances for various positions across different defense-related sectors. Collaborate with hiring managers and internal teams to understand staffing needs and ensure the best fit for positions. Manage candidate pipelines, screening, and interview processes while ensuring adherence to DoD security clearance protocols. Maintain detailed records of all candidate interactions, applications, and hiring activities. Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, DoD contractors, and recruiting networks. Assist in processing clearance-related paperwork and verification of security clearance statuses. Provide regular updates and reports to management on recruitment progress and candidate status.Requirements:
5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a strong emphasis on recruiting individuals with DoD security clearances. In-depth knowledge of DoD clearance levels (Confidential, Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI) and related regulations. Proven ability to successfully recruit for defense, intelligence, and government contracting positions. Strong understanding of the DC metro area's defense industry and contractor landscape. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet recruitment targets in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Prior experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is preferred. Active DoD security clearance is a plus, though not required.Other Job Posting Details
