Experience in Human Resources through internships, coursework, volunteering, etc. (Previous work at a credit union is beneficial). Technical proficiency in all Microsoft 360 products (Word, Power Point, OneNote, etc.) is required and essential to daily responsibilities. ( Proficiencies also include Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint) Strong understanding of the recruitment processes and best practices Experience working with multiple branches or locations within a business is preferred Experience leading or assisting transformation and change initiatives Ability to influence, lead, or assist in large scale strategic initiatives with multiple stakeholders Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to articulate clear updates in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect effectively with internal staff members and key stakeholders. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Goal-oriented, proactive, accountable and passionate about driving results. Job Responsibilities SharePoint Intranet Management Design, develop, and manage the organization's SharePoint intranet to streamline internal communication and foster employee engagement. Ensure the intranet is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with department leaders to create and maintain relevant resources, announcements, and content. Provide training and support to employees on navigating and utilizing the SharePoint intranet effectively. Recruitment & Onboarding Source potential candidates using diverse channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and events. Post job advertisements on multiple platforms including job boards, social media, and our company website. Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process Uphold and advocate for N.E.W. by only hiring staff members that align with our mission statement, vision statement, and our core values. Plan, coordinate, and execute career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting activities. Identify and propose improvements to streamline the recruitment process. Exercise professional discretion in handling sensitive recruitment matters and making hiring recommendations. Initiate onboarding and follow up with managers to ensure compliance with the entire onboarding process. Support new hire onboarding by preparing orientation materials and ensuring a seamless integration into the organization. Support the implementation of training programs to enhance staff members skills and professional growth. Coordinate with managers to identify training needs and recommend resources to address them. Employee Relations Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style with an emphasis on results and developing high performing team members Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills, including strong presentation skills, across levels, with the ability to build alignment, enthusiasm, and commitment Act as a trusted advisor and strategic HR partner to multiple senior executives Actively engage business leaders to plan and execute effective business strategies that align with N.E.W.'s mission statement, vision statement, and core values. Leverage deep understanding of the business to translate and drive clear business-focused talent, engagement and organizational strategies that achieve business outcomes. Facilitate change initiatives with a focus on culture, inclusion, leadership capabilities and engagement. Forge strong relationships with all internal staff including management and board members. HR Administration Administer and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Assist in processing payroll, benefits enrollment, and leave of absence requests. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay with annual earnings of $45,000-$50,000. Flexible/open to candidates who are interested in hybrid schedule in either our Oconto Falls or our Peshtigo locations.
