Burkhead Electric is looking for Electrical Apprentices that are determined and engaged in learning the various aspects of the electrical industry and grow their knowledge to become a licensed electrical journeyman. We offer learning and training opportunities to hone your skills and knowledge in a variety of settings to include Residential, Commercial, and Industrial job sites. Key Responsibilities:
Help to install electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, and other electrical components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Interpret technical drawings to understand the layout of electrical systems. Identify and assist in resolving minor electrical issues under the guidance of a licensed journeyman electrician. Adhere to electrical safety codes and procedures while working on live electrical systems. Maintain tools and equipment by keeping clean, organized, and use properly in a variety of tasks. Learn electrical codes and standards by understanding trade terminology and proper application of codes to maintain compliance. Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfaction. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in work areas, vehicles, and equipment. Stay current with industry best practices through training and certifications.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED recipient.(required) 18 years old for eligibility to enroll in an accredited apprenticeship program. (required) Basic hand tools proficiency (recommended) Proficient problem-solving, math, reading, and communication skills. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 80 lbs., working overhead, ladder, confined spaces, standing/kneeling for extended periods). Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Work Schedule:
Full-time:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with overtime potential. Minimum 40 hours per week.
Work Location:
