Salary:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• At least 3 year(s) of experience performing network cabling and wiring, configuring network equipment, implementing firewalls and wireless access points, etc...
• Minimum CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.
• Multi-vendor environment configuration and troubleshooting experience: Siemens, Juniper, Brocade, ITS Express, IS5, Advantech, Teleste
• Familiar with wireless environments and configuration.
• Advanced Firewall Administration skills: FortiOS.

Network Monitoring Software:

i.e. Solarwinds

NPM, NCM.

• Scripting for device configuration, python, bash or similar.

Fiber Optics Network:

ability to read splicing diagrams and experience with OTDR Test and results.

• CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+, Linux+, and Project+.
• Proven experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IOS and multi-vendor environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced Firewall Administration (FortiOS), wireless networking, and network monitoring.
• Proficiency in scripting for device configuration and familiarity with Fiber Optics Network technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in resolving complex network issues
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
