TIG Welder $21/hr., $22/hr if AWS TIG Certified Mon-Fri 6a-4p Are you a meticulous and experienced TIG Welder looking for a new opportunity? If so, this job is for you! A custom fabrication company in the Rock Valley, IA area is looking for a TIG Welder to join their growing team! The TIG Welder is responsible for the daily setup and operation of TIG welding to complete production weldment jobs.

Responsibilities:

Plan sequence of steps to perform duties according to blueprints. Set up and adjust welding parameters. Operate various welding, soldering or brazing equipment. Use various precision measuring equipment to check work. Operate equipment to grind, file, and adjust fixtures and parts to specifications. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required; associates degree preferred. Previous TIG Welding experience required; AWS TIG Certification preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as layouts, blueprints, sketches and maintenance instructions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and circumference. Ability to operate various equipment to include welding equipment, forklift, hoists, hand and power tools. What you'll get:
