(United States of America) Job Description Responsibilities Workday HR Specialist HHS has recently implemented Workday HCM as part of an exciting transformation of our HR operations!We are seeking a highly skilled Workday HR Specialist to join our team during this pivotal post-implementation phase. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in optimizing our HR systems and processes, ensuring we fully leverage Workday HCM's capabilities to support our organizational goals. Your expertise will be vital in driving continuous improvements and enhancing the employee experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Workday HR Specialist, you will be instrumental in optimizing, maintaining, and enhancing our Workday HCM platform.Your key responsibilities will include:
System Administration :
Manage and configure Workday HCM to support HR processes, ensuring the platform aligns with organizational needs.Data Management:
Oversee the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data within Workday, including ongoing maintenance and audits.Business Process Optimization:
Collaborate with HR teams to design, test, and implement business processes that improve efficiency and compliance.EIB Creation:
Create and manage Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) files for data uploads and integrations to streamline workflows.Reporting and Analytics:
Develop, customize, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for HR and leadership teams.System Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and user satisfaction.Implementation Enhancements:
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new Workday features or modules, ensuring alignment with HR strategies.Training and Documentation:
Create user guides, deliver training, and maintain documentation for Workday processes and configurations.Compliance and Security:
Ensure Workday processes adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, safeguarding data privacy and security.Skills:
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of Workday HCM data structures, EIBs, and reporting tools.Analytical Abilities:
Advanced data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Data Manipulation:
Proficiency in data cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration with stakeholders. Attention toDetail:
Meticulous approach to data management and quality assurance.Additional Skills:
Project management, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.Requirements:
2+ years of experience in HRIS or HR systems administration, with a strong focus on Workday HCM. Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL or other data manipulation tools. Experience with data migration, integration, and reporting in an HRIS environment. Knowledge of HR processes and data structures. Workday Report Writer certification is a plus but not required.
