Job Description:

The primary role of the Fuel Tanker-Transport Driver is to safely drive a Tanker(Transport) Truck & Trailer with a maximum 9,000 gallon hazmat liquid capacity. The Tanker driver loads fuel (Gasolines, Distillates, Liquid Petroleum Products, Lubricants). The Tanker driver safely transports the load to the designated customer?s location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

To operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, respecting customers property, other (motorist) and the environment Operate all equipment in accordance with Federal & State DOT guidelines, including 49CFR To agree to follow company policies & procedures, safety policies, environmental stewardship Efficiently perform vehicle pre/post trip inspection in accordance with Company and DOT requirements Maintain cleanliness of company owned vehicle Utilize onboard/portable electronic device to maintain DOT Hours of Service Utilize onboard/portable electronic devise to receive dispatched orders / process B.O.L's & record deliveries Correctly Load product at various loading facilities), adhering to the policies & procedures of the loading facility Deliver bulk fuel or bulk lubricants to customers, verifying the load is correct Participate in safety meetings and training as directed by the

Transportation Manager Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent CDL A License with Tanker, Hazmat, doubles/triples endorsement 39 Month MVR - Clean with zero chargeable accidents Current D.O.T physical card 1 years prior commercial driving experience required, fuel or hazmat tanker experience preferred Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays Must have strong reading, computer, math, and verbal skills. Must demonstrate strong desire to provide excellent customer service

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the driver is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear use hands and fingers to handle or fell objects. Driver must be able to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk or sit for up to 8 hours.
