Work will predominately include work in rural and remote location around the state of Colorado. Job Requires field fitting project, NO gps, often no staking, must be able to ready map.
Work will include:
General road rehabilitation, maintenance, and construction. Culvert removal, cleaning and installation. Reclamation and site remediation for; mine sites, and post disaster.
Utilities:
water, wastewater, etc. Stormwater water; stream stabilization, restoration, etc. Camp ground construction, repair, maintenance, etc. The ideal candidate will be a highly proficient operator and demonstrate professionalism at all times. Other important characteristics will include hard work ethic, dependability, honesty, determination, orderliness, loyalty, a desire to be a team player, and possess a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Must be well versed in performing excavation activities using heavy equipment - excavator, skidsteer, loader, backhoe, dozer, etc. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment Ability to read operating instructions and complete pre shift and post shift inspections Must be able to work with environmental sensitive locations with limited disturbance Keen since of detail and ability to deliver high quality finish work Multi-task and set priorities effectively Accomplish goals in a team environment and ability to work well with others Ability to work independently as needed Work in a safe and responsible manner and be in compliance with all Company, State, Federal policies and standards.
Qualification:
Minimum 3 years experience operating High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred Highly reliable and self-motivated Mush have strong communication skills & safety driven
OSHA/MSHA
certification is preferred Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical Have a valid driver's License and good driving record CDL is preferred Able to life heavy parts associated with this type of work. Lift 60lbs and greater Ability to travel to and from job locations across the state of Colorado Basic math skills: ability to read and set grade stakes Please submit resume with current contact information.
