Qualifications Physical:
Working on lifts, ladders, rooftops, and other hard to access areas High School Diploma required Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation Good communication and interpersonal skills Residential solar installation: 2 years (Required) Lead solar installer: 1 year (Required) Driver's License (Required) Responsibilities Primarily responsible for the leading of the installation crew and the installation and service of the components of a Solar PV system Travel is required within Ohio and surrounding states The schedule for this position is 10-hour shifts,Monday-Friday Installation:
The Lead Installer is responsible for leading a team in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of residential and commercial solar PV systems, of both roof and ground-mounted systems Installing solar panels and their components on roofs and ground mounted racking systems, responsible for uploading all necessary photos, POC between crew and upper management. Ability to read schematics and follow technical installation instructionsManagement:
Required to manage your time and your installation teams time to ensure that all standard policies, practices, and guidelines are followed. Manage, lead, train, and motivate a crew of 3-6 installers You will lead your team to ensure quality and efficiencies and provide guidance to your team during the installation process and as questions arise Maintain appropriate stock on truck to complete install and double check material for the job is loaded prior to leaving the shop Maintain a clean job site, work truck, and warehouse Ability to test, commission, and troubleshoot system components Maintain weekly installation goals for the crew Accurately upload required information to our work platform and other applicationsCommunication:
Working under the direction of the Installation Manager, Project Managers, and in coordination with all team members to ensure that all parties are communicated with and working toward our values Interact with clients in a respectful mannerSafety :
Required to wear all safety gear and perform all safety as required by the policies. Ensure that your team members working with you are following all necessary safety requirements. Competently install safety equipment and enforce safety policies Ensure that all vehicle safety is followed such as no distracted drivingTraining:
Work with new and current employees to train on best installation processes, navigate different software when applicable, and train proper PPE requirements.Job Type:
