RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client in San Diego, CA that is seeking a QA PPE/Capital Markets Automation Engineer.
Summary:
The QA PPE/Capital Markets Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions within the Mortgage Industry, with a specific focus on Pricing & Product Engine's (PPE) and Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mortgage-related QA automation, capital markets, and PPE. This role involves creating automated scripts to test all aspects of our software, including user interfaces, APIs, and database values. The Engineer will collaborate with team members to understand the impact of requested enhancements and ensure that automation scripts fully verify changes without unintended side effects.
Duties:
  • Work closely with other agile team members in the development of automated test suites, execute and identify potential quality risks
  • Analyze and dpose aplicated software system and design a test strategy to perform functional testing
  • Collaborate with team members to identify root causes and help determine potential solutions
  • Ensure the team meets and exceeds expectations for all deliverable life cycles
  • Proactively inspect and adapt Engineering's quality processes and tools
  • Assist and track on behalf of the system test team as needed for cross-product end-to-end system testing
  • Adopt test-driven development techniques and ensure that quality is built into the code
  • Communicate with other agile teams as part of a d responsibility for total product quality
  • Effectively analyze and isolateplex system-level problems that extend past the reach of the product under test
  • Integrate test suites into the test management system and test harness
  • Identify and bring team focus to potential quality issues and work with the team to mitigate technical debt
  • Use metrics to measure w the team is versus w they should be in terms of quality
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent,puter-related degree, or similar technical training
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of QA experience
  • Minimum of 7-12 years of experience in the Mortgage Industry
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Capital Markets and PPE (Pricing & Product Engines)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Automation
  • Strong proficiency with Tricentis, Q-test, and Tosca, with hands-on experience in leveraging these tools forprehensive test automation and integration testing
  • Ability to speak up and defend positions effectively
  • Proficiency in SQL, with demonstrated experience in designing and building databases from scratch to supportprehensive testing frameworks
  • Proficiency in Python, with extensive experience in scripting and automation to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy
  • Experience with API-driven automation and integration testing
  • Multi-language automation experience is a plus
  • Framework and Selenium WebDriver experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in Robot Framework for automated test development
  • Solid understanding of automating front-end, mobile, and APIs
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, quality reporting tools, and CI/CD environments for enterprise software delivery
  • Experience with API-driven automation using Postman/Newman
  • Experience in automating desktop-based applications is a plus
  • Experience writing software designs/specifications and quality test strategy and test plans
  • Solid understanding of, and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: Agile tools including Confluence and JIRA; Office 365, including Outlook, Point, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Continuous integration tools like Jenkins
  • Familiarity with security and cloud technologies preferred
  • Ability to solve technical problems and think abstractly
  • Strong sense of urgency and personal initiative
  • Able to work independently and self-manage backlogs and priorities The pay range is the lowest to highestpensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
