We are in search of a talented individual to fill the role of Bookkeeper. This full-time position provides an opportunity to contribute to our growth while developing your skills and supporting a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in assisting with bookkeeping functions for our sister companies. As a Bookkeeper within our accounting department, you will be an essential team member, responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented role and is passionate about contributing to the success of a leading homebuilding company.

https://www.callcypresshomes.com/ Responsibilities Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions. Record journal entries related to financing activities, project draws, and closings. Reconcile credit card statements, review coding, and monitor balances. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Deposit project funds and track payments using multiple financial accounts. Assist in preparing and finalizing monthly draws, ensuring accuracy and resolving variances. Update and manage the chart of accounts (COA) and assist with cost, item, and class code maintenance. Prepare financial reports, tax documents, and audits. Support the management of insurance policies and business license renewals. Provide bookkeeping support to condo associations and act as a primary contact for inquiries. Participate in team meetings, process improvements, and company initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma required; additional training or certification in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus. A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with general ledger reconciliation. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to adapt to a dynamic environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and QuickBooks. Familiarity with construction project management software is a plus. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy.
