Position Summary:
The Electronic Payments Representative 1 provides customer service and technical support for ACH and wire customers, including support of third-party software vendors. Responsible for acquiring the knowledge and skills for all Electronic Banking operations. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.Essential Functions:
Provide customer service and technical support for ACH and Wire customers, including support of third-party software vendors. Verify incoming and outgoing wires in WireXchange software. Input outgoing wires into the WireXchange software. Balance ACH processing programs. Assist with setup and ongoing maintenance for new and existing ACH and Wire customers. Provide customers with technical support and operational training as needed, ensuring service level expectations are consistently met through all channels (phone, email, etc.) Responsible for acquiring the knowledge and skills for all Electronic Banking operations. Maintain a broad understanding of Reg. E., and NACHA rules and regulations. Provide customers and coworkers with professional, efficient and courteous service with all types of account inquiries and recognize ways to enhance their experience. Alert Supervisor and/or Compliance Officer to forgeries or suspicious activity. Is alert to deviation from policies and procedures. Participate in ongoing training and seminars. Prepare monthly and quarterly department reports. Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required. Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.Qualifications:
1- 2 years previous banking experience preferred. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Fiserv and in working with other company software. Obtain AAP certification within 3 years and maintain certification.Preferred Talents:
