Job Description
Shop Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, OD Grinders or multi-axis machines to manufacture aerospace components. Read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job. Perform part inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.). Adjust machine settings and offsets to maintain tolerance and quality standards. Monitor machine operations and perform routine maintenance or troubleshooting as needed. Maintain documentation for production and inspection according toAS9100 / ISO
standards. Work collaboratively with engineers, quality inspectors, and team members to resolve machining issues. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED , technical certification or trade school preferred. Minimum [5+] years of CNC machining experience [10+]preferred. Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC programming (experience with [Haas, Fanuc, etc.] machines preferred). Ability to interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings. Familiarity with aerospace standards and quality control processes (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.). Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Job Type:
