• Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. • Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Set up new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems. +

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity and efficiency. +

Repair:

Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems and components. +

Inspection:

Inspect and test HVAC systems to identify maintenance risks and address potential issues. +

Emergency Repairs:

Respond promptly to emergency calls for HVAC problems. +

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. +

Customer Service:

Assist customers with queries and provide technical advice.

• Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, understanding electrical and mechanical systems. +

Problem-Solving:

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. +

Communication:

Excellent communication skills to explain repairs and maintenance to customers. +

Physical Ability:

Capability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.

• Education and Experience:

Education:

High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certification in HVAC systems. +

Experience:

Typically, 2+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
