POSITION TITLE
IT Coordinator SALARY:
Starting at $24.00/hour commensurate with experience.POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Coordinator is responsible for providing support to end users in the company by installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing systems, networks, and devices. The IT Coordinator works in conjunction with the Company's outside technology vendor to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and are regularly maintained.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for end-users in the company. Provides individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies. Performs routine technical assistance and maintenance duties. Tracks inventory levels of equipment and materials; performs data entry and maintenance of records including, but not limited to, project documents, user instructions, general reports and/or systems errors. Performs routine technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoots and resolves general system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts. Provides input for the review, evaluation, and recommendation of solutions relating to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network updates. Assists with research and development initiatives and in the implementation of new technologies. Assists with the implementation of technology projects with moderate scope and impact. Assists with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices. Maintains current knowledge of technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards, and/or IT systems. Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Associate's degree in information technology or related field (preferred). 2+ years of prior experience with IT related duties. Strong organizational and time management skills. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure customer information is accurately captured. Ability to multi-task when necessary. Great oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions within the scope of the position. Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to maintain strict customer, vendor, staff, and corporate confidentiality.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Varied activities including sitting (for extended periods of time), standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching. Manual dexterity to operate various types of office equipment including, but not limited to computers, copy machines, 10-key calculator (by touch), etc. Periodic need to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a fast-paced, high volume, office and manufacturing environment. Must be able to tolerate varying environmental conditions including, but not limited to heat, cold, noise, etc. Must be able to tolerate frequent interruptions from coworkers, customers, vendors, and others. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
