Railroad Avenue, Kewanee, IL 61443 Job Overview Ed Morse Automotive Group is Hiring! We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through the service process and ensuring their automotive needs are met with exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both customers and service technicians. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services required, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate and timely completion of services. Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive repair processes, including air brake systems, tire service, shocks and struts, and general mechanical knowledge. Manage customer inquiries and concerns with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Prepare estimates for repairs and services while ensuring transparency in pricing. Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional services needed. Keep accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and payments. Qualifications Previous experience as a Service Technician or in Automotive Sales is preferred, but not required.
