What You'll Do:
Lead and guide the 2nd shift team; assign jobs and inspect work quality Communicate job priorities across shifts to ensure smooth operations Perform and oversee preventive maintenance and DOT inspections Conduct structural, electrical, and mechanical trailer repairs Weld steel and aluminum; handle trailer fabrication Assist with road service calls and maintain shop cleanliness Review and process work orders for COD customers
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of trailer repair or heavy-duty maintenance experience Experience with DOT inspections, ABS systems, and welding/fabrication preferred Valid driver's license & ability to pass drug screen and background check Strong communication and team leadership skills Air Brake and DOT inspector certifications or ability to obtain Must provide your own toolbox and tools High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
