Job Summary:
As an Induction Electrician, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems tied to cutting-edge induction heating equipment. From motors and coils to complex electrical systems, you'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of induction equipment that powers some of the most advanced industries today. With a focus on safety and precision, this position offers you the opportunity to showcase your electrical expertise while working on dynamic, high-tech equipment.Key Responsibilities:
Installation Excellence:
Set up and configure state-of-the-art induction heating systems and control systems. Ensure electrical wiring, circuits, and power supplies meet top-tier safety standards and manufacturer specifications.Maintenance & Repair Mastery:
Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to keep induction systems running smoothly. Diagnose and fix issues with transformers, capacitors, power supplies, and coils to ensure peak performance.Troubleshooting Expertise:
Leverage your problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues, from short circuits to grounding faults, using high-tech diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imaging). Collaborate with engineering teams to address complex technical challenges and optimize system performance.Safety First:
Follow strict safety protocols and industry regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your team. Maintain compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, and document all work to ensure accuracy and transparency.Technical Support & Training:
Provide expert guidance to operators and maintenance staff on the best practices for using and maintaining induction equipment. Share your knowledge by assisting in training new staff, ensuring they are prepared to handle induction systems safely and efficiently.Comprehensive Documentation:
Keep meticulous records of your work, including schematics, diagrams, and service logs. Report any issues, hazards, or inefficiencies to supervisors and offer recommendations for improvements.Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification in electrical systems or industrial maintenance is preferred.Experience:
3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical work, ideally with induction heating systems or similar technology.Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics. Deep understanding of induction heating and related equipment. Troubleshooting and problem-solving in an industrial environment. Experience with PLCs or automated control systems is a plus.Certifications:
Journeyman or Master Electrician license (location-dependent). Additional certifications in industrial maintenance, safety, or induction systems are highly beneficial.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces. Comfort working in environments with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial hazards.Work Environment:
Industrial settings, including manufacturing plants, foundries, and facilities with induction heating or motor systems. Shift work, overtime, and on-call availability for emergency repairs may be required.Pay Details:
