Full Job Description Equipment Operator-Sports Construction Job Summary:
This position requires a construction minded individual who is able to travel to sports venues across the country and install large diameter poles, hang cables and netting, and any other material needed to be installed on the project. You will work on a team of dedicated sports construction technicians that are self-motivated, willing to learn to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, growing leadership skills and detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Positive attitude and willingness to learn Proper use of hand/power tools Be able to lift 50lbs, work on feet for 8 hours Work in all weather conditions Good time management Skid loader experience a must Mini Excavator experience a must Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion Perform maintenance on equipment to keep in a satisfactory working condition Know and use tools and equipment related to fencing Experience with Blueprint readings Understands concrete and terminology and ordering Can load a trailer safely Maintain clean tools/vehicles First Aid/CPR/AED Certified OSH 10 Travel 75% of the time
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent is required US work authorization is required Class A CDL Exhibit regular and prompt attendance Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting Willing to work M-F with weekends and overtime when needed Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools Ability to learn/operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc.
