Crafting Excellence:

Your Responsibilities Understand, properly set up and proficiently operate a variety of weldingequipment e.g. SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, Oxy-Acetylene cutting, Plazma cutting, ArcCarbon Arc cutting, power tools, shop equipment, etc. Working fromdrawings, plant layouts, or verbal orders, perform a wide variety offabrication assignments, operating a variety of power equipment and machinery. Workingknowledge of welding symbols with the ability to weld to the specificationsdefined by those symbols. Weld toproper dimensions and to meet general test requirements. Work fromdrawings, job layouts, and sketches. Fit,position, and weld a variety of items e.g. frames, bases, hoppers, covers,hoods, pipes, production service equipment and machinery, etc. Chip andgrind welds as required. Perform avariety of duties requiring a cutting torch. Safely andeffectively operate all shop fabrication equipment. Understanddifferent types of steel and various preheat requirements. Be capableof using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create work notifications,look-up and order parts, print work orders, and enter time confirmations. 18 years ofage or older Ability tocommunicate effectively for manufacturing production processes Physicalability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without areasonable accommodation Ability tofollow all safety policies and procedures Reliableattendance and work performance Successfulcompletion of a drug screen and background check High Schooldiploma/GED required. Required toachieve a passing score on technical skills test and hands-on assessment. Must becapable of operating a forklift. Must provideown tools. The salary range for this position is $27.02 - $35.30. The specific salaryoffered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including thecandidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
