//youtu.be/XYNIFpLQIJY The Production Planning Scheduler will be managing the scheduling and coordination of production activities and overseeing the parts inventory and maintenance system. This role will ensure maintenance parts are available, PM tasks are organized and tracked, and production runs are effectively scheduled to optimize efficiency, reduce downtime, and meet customer demand.
Key Responsibility:
Develop and maintain the daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts, sales orders, inventory levels, and equipment availability. Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure coordinated scheduling. Adjust production schedules as needed in response to labor availability, equipment downtime, material shortages, or rush orders. Ensure schedule adherence and proactively address any delays or bottlenecks. Track and report schedule performance, production output, and shift attainment. Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement Develop and maintain forecast, master schedule and procurement plan based on history, seasonality and sales opportunities Receive, label, store, and issue maintenance parts and supplies Maintain accurate and organized inventory levels through routine cycle counts and reconciliations Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders for parts and services Track and document part usage and availability in the CMMS Administer the CMMS system including asset data, PM scheduling, and work order management Support maintenance team by preparing parts kits for planned work Generate maintenance metrics and reports (e.g., PM compliance, inventory usage, downtime analysis) Support compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and GMP regulations Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in logistics, operations, or technical field preferred. 2-5 years of combined experience in production planning, maintenance support, or inventory control. Experience with CMMS (e.g., MP2, SAP, Fiix, eMaint, Maximo) and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite). Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge preferred Experience in a GMP-regulated or FDA-compliant manufacturing environment preferred Previous involvement in CMMS or ERP system rollouts or upgrades preferred
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $69,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
