    Manufacturing Technician
  • Job Description
  • As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacture of commercial and clinical biologics. Your responsibilities will include environmental cleaning, formulation of buffers and media, and adherence to cGMP documentation practices. Your commitment to safety and accuracy will ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Prepare and execute manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with a focus on safety and accuracy.
+ Weigh, transfer, and mix chemicals. + Document all activities to meet cGMP requirements and maintain compliance. + Complete preventative maintenance and work notification tasks on time. + Test and troubleshoot process and analytical equipment. + Draft, review, and revise documents as needed. + Perform in-process analytical testing as required. + Maintain raw materials inventory using systems such as Kanban. + Keep training records up to date. + Participate in safety inspections, improvement projects, and other required activities. + Engage in shift exchanges, 1-1 meetings, and other necessary meetings to address area needs.
  • Essential Skills
  • + High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
+ Experience in manufacturing and/or GMP environment preferred. + Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshoot issues. + Ability to stand for 80% of the shift and move/lift approximately 40 lbs. + Capability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including work uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, safety glasses, bump cap, and nitrile gloves.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Experience with inventory/inventory control + Experience with quality inspection + Proficiency with computer skills, especially Excel. + Experience in production, quality assurance/inspection, general warehouse work, office/clerical work, or retail/customer service work.

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
