Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. As an Engineering Technician you would be responsible for using standard drafting practices and procedures, with a strong attention to detail, to assist with tasks related to a variety of engineering and construction projects. The Engineering Technician will modify and create design plans and drawings using computer aided design (CAD) programs under the direction of a designer or engineer. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clie Duties and Responsibilities Create, edit, and modify CAD drawings Apply Westwood Company CAD standard, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings Collaborate in a team environment Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents Work with extreme precision and accuracy in creating design drawings Plot and check drawings Willing to take on other duties as assigned Required Skills Possess basic mathematical skills and analytical abilities Attention to detail, self-motivated and a Team player Working Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam Willingness to learn and grow is a must Preferred Experience High School graduate or equivalent Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D Design skills and knowledge Experience with applications (InfraWorks, SITEOPS, BIM, Revit, AutoTurn, AutoDesk 360, etc..) 1-5 Years of Industry Experience Compensation Range Minimum USD $23.00/Hr.
