(DESKTOP SUPPORT) Fort Worth Transportation Authority - 3.6 Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $22.49 - $28.11 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Some college Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Management Word processing High school diploma or GED Computer skills Entry level Under 1 year Full Job Description Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Technical Services Coordinator (Desktop Support) responsible for coordinating administrative and customer support services for Information Technology. This is a position that will have some administrative, customer service, as well as technical duties. The incumbent is under the direction of the Lead Technical Services Coordinator.
Essential Functions include:
Manage inventory for PC's, printers, and other hardware equipment. Relocate computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed. Install pre-configured systems from a KACE image. Diagnose and repair equipment including printers and computers. Service equipment according to established preventative maintenance schedule. Maintain accurate records of time and material required to perform repairs and service. Resolve Help Desk tickets and requests for service. Provide necessary hardware and software training to users. Assist in setup of audio-visual equipment as directed. Lift and move computer equipment. Install and maintain wiring. Maintain reference library for computer system. Maintains confidential information. Maintains regular and punctual attendance Other Responsibilities include : Participates in company community activities to promote transit on off duty hours. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Education and Experience Minimum high school education. Prefer some college. Six (6) months of microcomputer systems experience. Proficient use of computer word processing, Outlook, and Excel spreadsheets. Windows 11 and cellular concepts are preferred. Any combination of experience, training, and/or education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may substitute for the required education.
