We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector II to perform in-process (IQC) and outgoing (OQC) inspections. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in manual inspections and have a solid understanding of GD&T. Familiarity with CMM and Keyence programs is preferred, as well as experience with PCDMIS. Primary Responsibilities In-Process Quality Control (IQC): Uses inspection equipment and tools with skill and full working knowledge of capabilities and limitations. Recognize and recommend better methods of inspection and audit.New Product Qualification:
Performs First Article Inspections (FAI) and assists with Gage R&R studies, process capability studies, and other Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements as specified by internal or external customer requirements.Calibration:
Help calibrate measuring equipment and gauges, monitor out-of-tolerance issues, and provide monthly calibration status reports. Retrieve and track gauges for calibration. Determine if external calibration is needed. Ensure calibration is done on time, either in-house or through external services.Equipment Operation and Programming:
Set up and run CMM and Keyence programs for part inspections, with basic Understanding of CMM programming using PCDMIS. Outgoing Quality Control (OQC): Conduct final inspections before shipping, identify defects, collaborate with teams to resolve issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. Strive to improve quality processes and customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED Minimum of two years inspection experience in a manufacturing environment or related experience Minimum of two years of calibration methodologies and techniques Intermediate Metrology Knowledge Intermediate Statistical Process Control Knowledge Preferred Qualifications Two-year associate degree or trade school certification in a mechanical/manufacturing field. Formal training in inspection, calibration, or continuous improvement ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification such as CQIA, CMI, or CQT. Recently expired certifications will be considered. Dimensional inspection experience Working knowledge of PCDMIS programming. Working knowledge of Keyence inspection systems. Experience working at an organization that has achieved any ISO9001-based certification, which would includeISO9001, IATF16949
(previously TS16949), AS9100, orISO13485
Reell Precision Manufacturing offers competitive compensation and benefits. For this non-exempt position, the pay range is expected to be between $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range is a good faith estimate of the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as the actual work location.Benefits include:
