ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN

ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIANS
in our new Bridgeport, TX location . Our
ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIANS
are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
Starting Wage:
up to $36.00/hour (depending on experience). A maintenance exam will be administered to determine level of pay. Typical hours are 7PM-7AM,every other weekend
  • 3 DAYS OFF exact days depend on shift !
Responsibilities:
I&E Technician
  • Responsible for maintenance and installation of all field instruments, process control computers and electrical maintenance.
  • Operates and controls equipment used in a dry ice production plant.
  • Must maintain Qualified Electrical Worker certification
  • Maintains quality control and quality assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs
  • Install, maintain, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic measuring, recording, and regulating instrumentation.
  • Maintains calibration standards, including inspection, testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders
  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical calibrations and adjustments.
  • Works with management team to schedule calibration and preventive maintenance programs to achieve plant and company strategic quality goals.
  • Assists in the development and administration of comprehensive spare parts program.
  • Assists in the training and development of others when needed.
  • Performs maintenance on compressors, pumps, valves, motors, and other plant equipment, when required.
  • Reads and interprets technical drawings and manuals.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree or any other related certifications or training is a plus. Experience with robotics Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Statistical and analytical skills. Must be able to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in tight spaces in and around machinery. Must pass pre-employment drug screen, employment history verification, and records check. A Maintenance Skill Level Exam will be administered to determine pay level.
