!! Our firm is looking to hire a Mechanical Technologies Technician to help with the manufacturing of our latest products for Chemical Plants. This position is hands-on projects•from planning to production. Perfect candidate is someone that is mechanically minded, likes to work with their hands, fast-learner, safety conscious and is looking for a CAREER (not just a job). This position is exposed to CNC machines, laser machines, 3D printers, soldering and a variety of testing equipment. Candidate will work under the direct supervision of Chemical and Mechanical Engineers. This position requires a lot of "in-house" technical training, so English must be candidates primary language.

Responsibilities:

Attend meetings with engineers regarding specifications and/or needed upgrades on product line and new high temperature measuring instrumentation. Assemble, install, and test temperature measurement instrumentation. Install and repair instrumentation in customer's sites (Chemical Plants). Knowledge of basic hand tools, drills, electric screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers, etc. is required, as well as basic math and measurement skills. Testing experience required•preferably experience with volt meters, calipers, etc. Experience with laser machines and/or 3D printers a plus Follow company's policies and procedures Draft and update construction procedures Follow company's safety protocols Interact with other employees and engineers

Requirements:

Associate Degree•Preferred (Trade-School) Will consider someone with just a high school diploma, but must have proven experience that shows•"Jack of all trades"

Speak/Read:

English 5+ years experience working as a manufacturing technician and/or related field Company will conduct background check, as well as administer drug-testing. Candidates with past criminal record
