Process Technician Job Description:

Operate and manage machine start-up and shutdown processes as required for scheduling, repairs, or emergencies. Conduct product quality checks at designated intervals to ensure compliance with standards. Ensure the availability of raw materials for molding processes, preventing shortages and verifying material accuracy per part and customer specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, promptly reporting any unsafe conditions. Follow the Stop-Call-Wait protocol as necessary. Notify maintenance or supervisors of any machine repair needs beyond assigned responsibilities. Make necessary machine adjustments to meet product specifications, including cycle time, wall thickness, and other critical parameters. Respond to machine alarms, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions. Perform mold, material, and continuous improvement trials, accurately documenting and communicating results. Provide feedback on trial outcomes to optimize mold-machine performance and achieve optimal cycle times.
