0 5.0 out of 5 stars Jamaica, NY A Global freight forwarding company is seeking an Export Coordinator to join their office in Jamaica, NY area. Prefers to have 1~3 years of hands on working experience in Ocean or Air Import/Export, a A.A. degree, and excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). This is a Direct hire, full-time and Onsite work setting position.

Export Coordinator Duties:

• General export operations (export operations / customer support, arrangements with cooperating companies, document preparation)
• Response and answer various inquires from customers
• Handles orders from Export.
• Receives and reviews shipping documents for conformity to tariff and customs regulations.
• Sends the shipping pre-notifications to customers prior to shipments' arrival.
• Issues billing for triangle shipments and domestic transportation and mails them out.

Export Coordinator Skills:

• Must have 1~3 years of experience working at a related logistic companies
• A.A. degree or higher preferred
• Excellent PC Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experienced in CargoWise software is a big plus
• Japanese Language skill (Conversational ~ Professional) is an big asset but not mandatory
